Check the side of your existing filter for the printed dimensions (Length x Width x Depth). If the text is missing, measure the inner dimensions of your intake vent or filter slot with a measuring tape.
What does the MERV rating mean?
MERV stands for Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value. A higher MERV rating (up to 16) means the filter can trap smaller particles like smoke and bacteria, while lower ratings are designed for basic dust and lint.
